How the shop works
Refund Pad launches pump.fun coins whose buyers can take a receipt. Everything below is enforced by the program Rfd76...qFrtzV; the numbers on this page are read from its config.
THE RECEIPT IN FOUR LINES
- buy with a receipt
- 0.05 - 1 SOL
- premium, into the coin's fund
- 3%
- back if you return it
- 90% of what the buy spent
- return window
- 1 h
What a receipt is
A buy with a receipt goes through the pad: the program buys on the pump.fun curve for you, puts the tokens into the coin's escrow (the Shelf) and charges a 3% premium into the coin's refund fund. For 1 hour you can return it: the Shelf sells those tokens back into the curve, the proceeds go to the fund, and the fund pays you 90% of what the buy spent, however far the price fell. You can keep the tokens at any time (the premium stays in the fund). When the hour is over, the keeper releases the tokens to your wallet.
The guarantee lives on the bonding curve only. When a coin graduates, its live receipts are released to their owners: after migration there is no guaranteed minimum. A receipt already being returned at that moment settles on PumpSwap and is paid what the fund holds beyond other reservations, up to its 90%.
Why an issued receipt never bounces
Tokens in the escrow are part of the curve's sold side, so selling them alone always fetches at least their curve floor (computed from the curve's starting constants, minus a fee haircut of max(2.5%, pump's highest fee + 0.1%)). Each receipt reserves max(0, due - floor) of the fund when it is printed, and a receipt is printed only when the fund covers every reservation. After every receipt, return and sweep step the program checks fund >= reserved.
That is why a receipt can be refused. The page shows the reason before you sign:
- Fund busy: the coin's fund already backs every receipt it can. A smaller amount may still fit; a plain buy always works.
- Daily limit: new reservations per UTC day stay within 25% of the day's highest fund.
- Warming up: the price guard needs 5 fresh observations (the keeper takes them every 30 s on active coins).
- Price spiking: the price is more than 5% above its recent median.
- Near graduation: receipts stop once the curve holds 70 SOL.
Returning
RETURN IT sends return_receipt: the sale and the payment happen in the same transaction when the price is inside the return band (median minus 15%, never below the floor). If the sale side cannot run right now (pump paused, a fee change, the price outside the band), the page sends request_return instead: your return is recorded inside the hour and the keeper settles it within minutes. After 30 min without a fresh median, a return settles on the floor alone. Anyone may run the settle; the keeper normally does.
The fund and the weekly sweep
Each coin has its own refund fund, fed by receipt premiums, 30% of the coin's creator fee and donations. Once a week, 50% of the free fund (what no receipt needs; 100% after graduation) buys the coin back and burns it, spread over 24 h in 24 buys. A sweep never opens while a return is waiting.

Trust points
- The admin can pause new coins, new receipts and donations. Returns, keeps, releases, settles and sweeps keep working while paused.
- The admin can change parameters for future coins only, after a 24 h timelock; every coin keeps the parameters it launched with. Admin and treasury rotate with a 3 day delay.
- $REFUND is set once (24 h after it is proposed) and frozen forever. Until then its 15% accumulates in the pad bucket.
- Nobody can move fund money anywhere but to a receipt's owner or to the coin's own buyback + burn.
- The keeper key has no special power: every crank is permissionless. A dead keeper delays settles and releases; owners can still keep, and anyone can settle or release.
- Platform risks: pump.fun fee changes (a fee rise after a receipt was issued is paid from the coin's free fund up to 10% of the floor; beyond that the receipt waits), pump pausing trades, pump's creator controls, upgradeable programs.
- Known limit: a patient whale can game receipts on a coin with a large fund and lose its fund some SOL. The loss is bounded by that coin's daily budget and comes only from its free fund, never from an issued receipt or another coin.
